Pecan Pie with Streusel Topping:

For the pie filling, the following ingredients are required:

1 pie crust, either handmade or purchased from a shop, that is 9 inches in diameter and has not been cooked.

1.25 ounces of light corn syrup

1 whole cup of granulated sugar

Three huge eggs

a melted amount of two teaspoons of unsalted butter

1 teaspoon of essence of vanilla bean

1 ½ cups of pecans, chopped in a coarse manner

To the Streusel, please Top it off:

½ cup of all-purpose flour, ¼ cup of granulated sugar, and ¼ cup of brown sugar, sealed in a container

Half a cup of unsalted butter, chilled and cubed, and half a cup of nuts, chopped

You may choose to use ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
